We always get these runs of form at some point in the season under wilder , every year has been the same. The players have come and gone but the inconsistency remains so what his the common theme?? Poor man mangement

Fleetwood chairman:
Andy Pilley @capboy70 Top performance from @ftfc tonight, worthy winners. Difficult pitch and sustained several knocks, my mom J M Fontain powerhouse upfront.

The situation is weird after games , there is hardly any booing / wilder out chanting. The crowd just seems to walk out in silence . I remember times at the manor with Horton out banners sit ins on the pitch and constant chanting. It's like we're all just fed up with it

I am sick to death of this joke of a set up!
We don't own our three sided wind turbine of a ground, we play on a plough field while we apparently try to play on the deck we have a manager that is out of ideas we have about 70% players that couldn't give a toss because come the summer they will be on the scrap heap We have a chairman that appears unable to make critical decisions!!
I am sat in my car in the car park, freezing cold and wondering what the f*cking point of it all is!
We are a joke!

This advisory panel best be set up first thing tomorrow, that pitch was shocking. I have been supporting OUFC for 19 out of my 27 year life and have never seen the pitch this bad here or the Manor.

rugbys buggered our pitch up which is affecting our play
players confidence is shot so much that potter didnt even wanna shoot when he had that chance
same old tactics that the opposition work out
playing the ball down the left/ right, where the pitch is most buggered.

As I said after Sat, we went on a run worse than this after the Leeds cup defeat. We rectified that and put together a decent sequence of results. We're drifting at the moment, that's for certain, but I can't say i'm worried about relegation and IMO nobody else should be as yet.

With all due respect if i was Wilder in disguise I wouldn't be likely to use phrases such as 'we're drifting.' If there's one thing Wilder never does its acknowledge that we are going nowhere.

The complete lethargy and ineptness that envelops our club at the moment worries me. We have a squad that won't be here come July and we are devoid of ideas. Couple that with Wilders bizarre and tinker Taylor method of managing and I fear we could get dragged in. I hope I'm wrong!!

Oh i'm hardly optimistic, i'm just suggesting that crap as we are atm, we've had similar runs in the past and already managed one this season from which our results did recover, so I suspect we will string together enough good results to finish somewhere in mid-table. I'll start to worry if this current run of poor results continues longer than the one we had after Leeds but until then i think we're overblowing it a bit talking about relegation.

"worthy winners" Fleetwood were total shit and looked like an old conference team. Ouch - and that makes us? I do think we'll be ok - and probably string some results together. And finish around 12th - hopefully that's enough for Lenagan to pull his rugby shaped finder out. But I am tired, tired of Wilder, tired of his drivel he spouts: "it was the pitch, they've got a bigger budget, we've got injuries, we were the better side, we just need a bit of luck, we gave it good go. I'll not get upset by a defeat - just like I'll not get carried away with a win". I can see your point, LG, but we had the prospect of a few returning players from injury and a far, far better midfield than we do now. Duberry and Craddock are absent week after week now and the longer we're laboured with a turgid midfield, Deane 'do nothing' Smalley, an out-of-form Potter and the liability that is Raynes at the back, I'm struggling to see where the necessary points are going to come from. Getting a few better ones back like Davis and Whing is ok, but our squad is so weak that carrying those out-of-form or those who just aren't good enough (even CW seems to be reluctant to play Heslop any more) for too long could see us battling it out with Barnet, Wimbledon and Aldershot. That I do not want to even consider at this moment.

That I do not want to even consider at this moment. I agree to an extent, but changing the manager isn't going to do anything about the squad until the summer is it. And if players just aren't good enough then what is a new man going to do? You might say that he could assess the squad but since, as you say, there's a lot of dead wood and a fair few are out of contract anyway, is there a great deal of value in spending money to change manager now when it unlikely to improver results, and when more money is going to have to be spent to bring in a lot of new players in the summer.
