Because they have beaten Arsenal and Villa, so? They are still only only 5 pts ahead of us having played a game more. Really don't see that the cup matches have anything to do with today!! We will just have to wait and see if Mr Wilder is a master tactician!!Hope so! If we win it'll have nothing to do with Wilder. You know how it works on here...

Thoughts on the team: - Brown instead of Clarke - only negatives for me. - 3 centre backs? Seems odd when the defence is all fit. Often you play 3 to protect one of the centre halves. Could be Dubes' fitness, or lack of it, but then play Raynes who's form of late has been good. Don't understand it other than to cope with a specific threat. - Wing backs and Potter and Rigg? Lots of width, not much else. Looks like 5-4-1 or 5-2-3 (which are effectively the same thing and boils down to how well we keep the ball, as to how advanced Rigg/Potter manage to play). - No Craddock. I wouldn't leave him out unless he's picked up slight knock/illness. - Big game for Montrose playing in a two man midfield away on his debut. Thrown in at the deep end.

Question , If Ryan Clarke has been carrying this injury for a few weeks, why have the club only just decided to send him for a scan, surely at the 1st sign of this injury they should have sent him for a scan instead of making the injury worse by playing him.

I just want my team to have as good a chance of scoring goals, funny enough thats what tend to gain the club three points, do you not think todays team selection is a little strange.

You're all quick to jump at the 5 and the back.. This may well be the case. But Wright could be LB with Davis LM, and Rigg joining Richards upfront?!
I would hope that Craddock must a knock! Otherwise it's crazy not to play him! Think he would work nicely off Richards! Will be interesting to see how we line up! Maybe 4-2-3-1 with Montrose and Wright in DM with Leven Potter and Rigg behind Richards?
COYY!

When will that be when then gary , when the messiah says so I thought Marsh was our best player in the first half against Southend but today with one striker starting we will send on Craddock if needs be to replace Richards or join him! Don't think marsh would get on so not much point him being on the bench? His time will come!

If Marsh takes care of those 1%s, he will give Wilder no choice but to put him on the bench and play him. Rather than moan at the manager encourage Ty Marsh to keep on working hard, staying late after training than anyone else and putting Wilder under pressure.

Wonder whether Wilder thought 3 centre backs would help us to cope with the physicality of Hanson, who today isn't starting?!

If people are so convinced we are going to lose, stick a fiver on us to do that and donate the proceeds to the 12th man fund or the youth setup. At least someone will be helped
