What a shame for us and for Clarkie...he could so easily have saved three of them.

Didn't even know you were playing.
For a Forum to show this level of excitement is impressive, especially for a reserve match or whatever - or is it a biggie that I have just missed?

I can safely say this is the least bothered i've ever been about a cup exit, with the possible exception of the Setanta Shield. I think i was more disappointed to go out of the FA Trophy if i'm honest.

Remember how excited you got before Di Canio bottled it in another big game at Wembley? Childish post, sums your lot up.

Why would you know we were playing. Yeah, very rare for fans to get excited about this cup. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-17488498

More gutted by this than the FA Cup exit. We didn't have much hope in that but a double header against Orient and a potential Wembley visit were there for us.
No more distractions now though although two defeats (sort of) without Cox does worry me slightly. Let's get back on it next weekend.

A certain thread from March this year entitled "The Tin Pot Cup": HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Take that Sky, Take that Scummers, Take that Lee Holmes and f*ck OFF DI CANIO. Couldn't have put it better. Yet again, Swindon choke when it matters Hello JL

Hello.
2 things.
We didn't choke like you, it was the lottery of penalties.
You must be extremely sad and desperate to find that. Thanks for cheering me up

Saturday should see Montrose making hid debut which should help the midfield.

Strange game. The teams almost took it in turns to look good. Yet again there were three or four instances where youd think the ball would have had the common decency to end up in the net. We are so often the nearly men. Us giving goals away to set pieces has to be a big worry for the coaching team. I think we can bounce back on Saturday. We are not actually playing badly.

Just imagine what a 4th round FA Cup tie v Reading and a JPT Final v Orient could have done to the clubs coffers....

Gutted tbh, I really wanted us to go the distance this time around. It seems that set pieces are costing us, surely we need to address this asap. It seems to be happening too often for my liking. There are some positives to take from the game, Marsh scored, Rigg played well, and we never lost over 90 mins. Thought we showed good character to be 2-1 up and then comeback from 3-2 down. Never mind.. Lets focus on the bread and butter stuff now (League).
