We've won. We're through. Nothing else matters, we're in the 3rd round. Roll on blades and Fleetwood at the weekend

I reckon Wilder told the team to play such craap tonight so that the Sheffield scout at the game (must be one) will think we always play craap and will send a reserve team for the next round.

First time in 10 years we've been in the 3rd round of the cup. Is that a sign of progress?

A win is a win, and that all that counts from tonights game, hopefully the players and mangerment use this as a stepping stone and start winning a few more games

Well that was welcome, nice to win a game again. And Doobs getting some game time to boot. All in all, quite satisfying. Hope the 46 are not too despondent. Out of the cup and a long trek home.

Hopefully we'll give blades a stuffing and then play some big team (Chelsea, United, Liverpool, Arsenal, City) in the 4th round and take them to a replay at least. Here's hoping

Why does Wilder not always speak to the press when we win? Churlish?

I didnt go - I was stuck in a jam on the M40. Glad I didnt go. The fact that we won is of little solace - sounds unimpressive - some seem to think a win is all that matters. Well I was not too unhappy when we were playing well and not getting results and now Im not really encouraged by tonights win. A win is not all that matters (IMO)

Why does Wilder not always speak to the press when we win? Churlish? Not wishing to be seen to say the wrong thing? Keeping a low profile? On the town tonight and left the ground early? Or with the dig about the pitch, didn't want to be the one to make it lest people have a go.

Well done all. We seem to be slowly improving. Slowly I can live with, as long as its surely. Eh???..two goals papering over some very big cracks, That was an awful performance. Leven seems to have his thumb up his arse for alot of the game. Like someone said behind me "What the hell do we do in training" ? A trouncing by fleetwood methinks...not unless we start to begin to play . Are we really fit yet?

The pitch was fine. It was just an excuse for playing hoofball and a dig at fans who were getting angry at the inability to pass it. They make out as if they were playing in a mudbath. There were some decent passing moves from both teams (very rarely) but it showed once or twice the pitch was okay.

that first half was probably the worst forty five minutes I have seen! Dreadful! Fortunately things picked up in the second half, two good goals and money in the bank. OK, I'll suffer the first half for that.

It seems the pitch was responsible for Chapman's injury. Are you saying Mad Dog lying?

I would suggest it was Chapman and the others hoofers in Yellow who were responsible for a painful to watch utter cr@p exhibition of ugly football. Yes, it improved second half, it reached the giddy heights of a 'Dire' rating! Mad Dog lying? No, whatever next- just being economical with the truth, the 'truth' being MD is responsible for a lot of what goes on on the pitch, so he aint going to criticise himself, or his boss now is he?!

Didn't realise I said that. I checked and I didn't. Like most on here I want a win every game. I am suggesting that two losses on the bounce might just result in his dismissal before Christmas Thus giving you an 'early Christmas present'. You're weaselling out.
