YP cut off at the end of the game and RadOx still blocked online, so we miss 'Wilder's words of wisdom' ??

If you consider we may be in a postential relegation battle then that was a good point. If, for some strange reason, you still harbour play off hopes then that was a disaster.

Totally lost YP now...but thank goodness it stayed until after the equalizer. Let's try not to be too miserable, guys...a point away is something worth having, and fighting back after going down is good as well. Not only that, but we out-shot them 18 to 7, with 10 shots on target, and so you can't say that we weren't pushing hard to win and playing some nice stuff on occasion.
Glass half full???

an away point is normally regarded as a "good result"...but only if you win most of your home games..then you are in with a big shout!

Our midfield are seriously lacking in desire.... salvaged a point thanks to Harry Worley, ... but getting over run and inability to defend corners is a HUGE concern

Good result for me as we are very average team ..got to be careful we don't get dragged into a relegation battle .not enough home wins is the problem .so Wilder is the problem .

My main ambition this season is that we get enough points for safety. The sooner the better.

shows how much of a joke our club is seen as due to the conference years. This cant happen again otherwise people will think in league two were punching above our weight.

From listening to the match- i got the impression we were at best average, the better side -for twenty minutes at the start, couldn't score (No surprise there) went a goal down and desperation, threw on Worley- and once again wilder got lucky with the sub being in the right place to score what turned out to be the equaliser. Had the performance been very good- and we still only drew, then it would still not have been good enough- But once again an average/mediocre performance where we scraped a draw. Mid-table mediocrity is looking like how we will finish. wilder -out.

Might not need 50 points to avoid the drop. Rovers and Barnet losing again.

Looking at the stats side of things, that looked a pretty good performance.
OUFC 18 shots at goal, Morcambe 7 OUFC 10 shots on target, Morcambe 7 OUFC 52% possession, Morcambe 47%
And with the battling performance to earn a draw, that is not too shabby a performance for me.

Morecambe had two very good chances which they failed to convert but didn't do enough to win it (neither did we.) Sums up the entertainment value of the game in the morgue-like Globe Arena that abusing Brodie was probably the most enjoyable part of the afternoon.

I assume that is a joke ... ? With those sort of stats, a draw is an utterly shameful result, Well, what would you call it if we'd managed one scuffed shot on goal, scored with it, and got a point? Isn't there something to be said for the team playing well enough, in stretches, to put themselves in the position to win the game, even if they didn't manage to score? It's not as though our forwards are congenitally incapable of scoring goals; they're just not scoring enough at the moment.
