The comment I made was aimed more at the fickle nature of some on here. Yesterday everything was rosy in the garden, minutes after the final whistle today the flowers are all dead, there's dog sh!t on the lawn and the fish are floating upside down in the pond. That sums up how I'm feeling tonight, it's bitterly cold too.

I don't think everything was rosy. We had beaten Wycombe and barnet who with all due respect could be both playing in the blue square next year. Tonight just shows that the garden has more sh1t on the lawn than some care to admit. And maybe the dog that laid it there should have found new owners in the summer.

Surely you're new to OUFC...because it hardly ever turns out the way you're hoping :-) there again, hope you're right. There you are, that's how it is with OUFC

Fair enough, its just that following a couple of decent results nobody was sounding a warning note, which is odd considering how many love to blare such a note out when we lose.

Blinkered like normal. There were plenty of posters saying we had only beat poor teams recently, now we can't even beat teams below us at home. I hope this does not turn into a nightmare season, the way I see it is loyalty to this manager could put our league status in jeopardy.

Love it, I'm blinkered because i suggest some of our fans our pretty seriously fickle in their views, but you aren't even though you ignore anyone who suggests things aren't as bad as you say they are. I often wonder what I would have to say not to have you picking me up on it 'roader.

No. You lot keep on about your freedom of speach, right to say it as you see etc. Well me too. In the last 12 hours a lot of people have posted who have not posted since shortly after the Rochdale match. When we do well they just keep quiet. That's how I see it, and I can see the stats.

It's looking bleak this season guys and girls, It's that lovely I word (Inconsistent). Chris Wilder may have his reasons for tinkering, or maybe forced into late changes. I just wish there was better communication, from the club to the fans! I seems bizzare to bench Johnny Mullins, and have Raynes playing instead. We conceded two goals from set pieces lastnight, and again it's Raynes at fault. It seems everytime whenever there is a set piece, someone switches off and thats what has cost us. Im not going to slag the whole team off, and rant on and on. We as supporters know whats needed at this football club, and asoon as that happens the better.

And its easy to be superior when you have the luck to be able to attend a lot of matches. If you want me to go to more games i'd be happy to accept donations. Its not a lack of willing which keeps me away 'roader, that's for sure.

There are not many who go week in week out at the moment (not me for sure), you watch mostly away games where the expectation of a draw is good, the majority on this board go to most home games and because of the turgid displays turned out some weeks, it might be hard for you to understand why these fans air their views so vehemently.

Forgive me for being pedantic, but for the purposes of this thread I was criticising the fickleness of people's opinions on here. I understand the frustration of fans who see poor football on a regular basis, i was just highlighting the fact that some of those people see fit to express that frustration only when we have suffered a defeat. For what its worth I generally try not to comment directly on matches I haven't seen. I think you'll find that many of my comments are of an indirect or general nature when concerning games i have missed.
