I felt Wilder in that interview sounded shell shocked. No good any person trading on what he did in the past - its the present that matters. Must wish the man well but I fear he needs to get a grip - hopefully he will. Cant' be easy for him - god knows what will happen as its a results business. Fingers crossed for you CW - but jesus, you really do have to turn it round on Saturday. Unable to get to Cheltenham, I watched City win again - against a Corby side that belied their league position. City lads always give 110% to a man and it is to be admired. Wilmott to me is better than we have at the moment too! ....and hey - take a look at this: news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_conf/conference_north_table/default.stm

Laughable the abuse I got on here from those who got overexcited for Chris Wilder when we pulled a goal back.
I was actually going to go to the game on Saturday, but will stay away until Wilder has gone.
Those who abuse me you can toddle along and make Wilder feel he is still welcome along with those of his players who are no longer bothered.
Actually, read the thread I have posted on the subject in the management section and see that some members support what I have said. Or would they be multis of mine?

I think he should be gone now. But surely it's do or die on Saturday.

From the comments on here, there's plenty of 'Wilder out' ones but not as many as I thought. The lack of a total bashing seems to have softened some people!
Perhaps the sight of Leven back playing (and the end of Heslop maybe?) and Beano helping in the build up to the penalty show that we are a tweak away from getting back on track.

I reckon CW has been so unlucky with injuries, last season was the same twarted by them. We are just starting to get players back, then i reckon we can judge more effectivley on CW ability. Right now i think he just has to play certain people, as there is no other option. I feel sorry for the bloke tbh, it's clearly his toughest stage as manager of OUFC. I just hope for him and the rest of us fans, he gets us back on track. There's no need to push the panic button yet, there's along way to go!.
